About:

Jennifer Smith is a Principal with STRATMOR Group, a data-driven mortgage advisory firm, where she helps lenders solve complex business problems that include business transformation, change management, regulatory adherence, and mergers and acquisition due diligence. Prior to joining STRATMOR in 2021, Jennifer held executive leadership roles at Gateway First Bank/Gateway Mortgage Group, Santander Consumer USA, and Bank of America.

With more than 29 years of extensive financial industry experience across mortgage, wealth management, consumer banking, and consumer lending, Jennifer has broad and deep experience in enterprise transformation, program management, merger integration, risk, regulatory oversight, and process optimization.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University and a Master of Science from the Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. When not partnering with clients to help them achieve their goals, Jennifer can be found spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and trying to persuade her overweight cat to eat his prescription diet food.
