About:

As a Financial Examiner Lead in the Consumer Services Unit for the Office of Financial Regulation, Kelly Mack investigates consumer complaints filed against all licensees under the Commissioner’s authority, i.e., mortgage lending, consumer and installment loans, sales finance, check cashing, credit reporting, money transmitter services, debt management services, and collection agencies.  She also handles all student loan servicer complaints with one other colleague in the unit under the direction of the Student Loan Ombudsmen.


Kelly has served as Chair of the NACARA Planning Committee for the last eight years, serves as a Director on the Executive Committee, and served as President of NACARA in 2011.  She brings forty-one years of dedicated service to the State of Maryland’s Office of Financial Regulation under the Department of Labor and has concentrated most of her tenure in the collection agency space serving as liaison to the Maryland Collection Agency Licensing Board for over 27 years.   


Kelly has been a member of the North American Collection Agency Regulatory Association for many years representing the State of Maryland in this capacity, gaining extensive experience from networking and maintaining open communication with association colleagues and federal and state counterparts, throughout the past 25 years.


Kelly lives in Fort Howard, Maryland, with her family and enjoys boating and kayaking.
