Kristen Eastman is an attorney at Troutman Pepper, serving within the Consumer Financial Services practice group. Her primary responsibilities involve working closely with the debt collection and regulatory teams. Kristen provides comprehensive advice to a diverse range of clients who are seeking to enhance, improve, or gain a deeper understanding of consumer debt collection compliance. Her areas of specialization include the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Regulation F, along with related state laws. Prior to Troutman Pepper, Kristen served for nearly five years as Chief Compliance Officer of the creditors’ rights practice group at a regional law firm. With over a decade of experience in the field, Kristen brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to her practice. She currently resides in Norfolk, Virginia.
