Bio:
Chanon Bell is a lover of policy, people and puzzles. Prior to her work at MLT, her most recent work has been in urban education at the intersection of policy, data and technology. Chanon has helped shape policy, build data systems and develop applications during her ten-year service at both the district (District of Columbia Public Schools) and state education agency (Office of the State Superintendent of Education) for the District of Columbia.
Hailing from the Dallas/ Fort Worth metropolitan area, Chanon received her Master’s in Public Policy from American University and Bachelors in Political Science from Spelman College. Outside of work, Chanon is a founding board member of a non profit organization based in Washington DC which centers its work on racial equity and youth-led civic engagement.
