About:

Kathleen Hebert Price is currently the Sustainability Risk Executive for Ally Financial, leading the company’s sustainability strategy to mitigate climate change risk and prepare and adapt Ally for a net-zero economy.  She also manages Ally’s Conduct and Reputation risk programs.  Her team is focused on sustainability risk management, environmental stewardship, and delivering transparency and accountability to both internal and external stakeholders.  She is a self-professed nature nerd. She sits on the Ally Leadership Council and is a member of the RMA Climate Risk Consortium, the BPI Climate Working Group, and the BAI ESG Executive Roundtable.

Prior to her current role, Price was the Head of Compliance Transformation and Strategy for Ally, with a focus on creating transparency, designing for simplicity, and identifying innovations that deliver better risk solutions for the company.  Prior to Ally, she worked at Bank of America for over 20 years, most recently as the Wholesale Credit Transformation Executive, overseeing the evolution of technology, process, and people from legacy to next-generation commercial credit delivery.  Prior to that, she was the Chief Operating Officer for the Global Commercial Bank, which included responsibility for strategic implementations of a multi-billion-dollar business, operational risk oversight, regulatory compliance, sales reporting, and technology prioritization and governance, with a focus on CRM, process improvement, and culture. Prior to that she led Capital Markets Research and Analysis, after more than a decade advising middle market clients on raising debt capital.  Ms. Price has been significantly involved in women’s initiatives throughout her career, emphasizing equal opportunities, the importance of mentoring, and a commitment to personal authenticity.  She looks forward to the day when advocating for equity no longer requires mention in a biography.

Ms. Price received her MBA from Wake Forest University and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Villanova University.  She holds a certificate in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation from the Harvard Extension School and is GARP-certified in Sustainability and Climate Risk.  She is currently a candidate for a Masters in Sustainability from Harvard University.

In addition to her career responsibilities, Ms. Price has served on several non-profit boards, including her current service on the local NPR affiliate, WFAE, where she serves on the Equity and Fairness Committee and the Finance Committee.  Ms. Price lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her three teenagers, an unruly garden, and one neurotic dog.
